Removalist rates in North Sydney

Three crews, three hourly rates, and a genuine discount for booking online. No "from" prices designed to grow later, no callback required to see a number. The only honest unknown is hours, so below the rates we show you exactly where the hours go.

CrewFitsOnline rateStandard rate
2 movers + 1 truckStudios, 1–2 bed apartments, most walk-up flats$200/hr$250/hr
3 movers + 1 truckBigger apartments, 2–3 bed houses and terraces, stair-heavy jobs$250/hr$350/hr
4 movers + 2 trucksLarge homes 4 bed and up, office relocations$400/hr$500/hr

Why the online rate is genuinely lower

A booking that arrives through the site comes with the details written down, which saves us admin hours, and we hand the saving back rather than pocketing it. Same crew, same truck, same blankets, better rate. There's no catch to find; the standard rate simply covers jobs that come in the slower way.

What the rate covers: the crew, the truck, felt blankets, straps, trolleys and the lift curtains our logo is named after. Cartons and packing materials, if you want them, get listed on the written quote so nothing surprises you. And the quote states your hours estimate, and any minimum, in writing before you commit; if a detail changes the estimate, you hear it from us first.

Where the hours go

The same day, three ways

Hourly pricing is only honest if you can picture the hours. Here's how each crew's day typically runs. Illustrative, not a quote: your run sheet is drafted for your actual building.

2 + 1 · tower 1-bed

$200/hr online
  1. 07:15Dock in, curtains up
  2. 07:30–10:00Lift window: load out
  3. 10:20Drive + dock at the new building
  4. 10:40–12:30Load in, beds rebuilt

A booked lift keeps a small move small.

3 + 1 · walk-up 2-bed

$250/hr online
  1. 07:00Truck close, stairs padded
  2. 07:20–11:00Carry relay: two carry, one loads
  3. 11:20Drive, unload the big pieces first
  4. 13:00Final boxes, stairwell checked

The third mover keeps the relay moving; see the walk-up guide for why it can cost less overall.

4 + 2 · office, after hours

$400/hr online
  1. 17:30Inductions done, dock opens
  2. 18:00–22:00Move window: both trucks cycling
  3. 22:30Old floor clean, passes back
  4. Next AMCrates at the right desks

Two trucks so the lift window never waits on the road.

Straight answers

The pricing questions everyone should ask

What decides how many hours my move takes?

Four things, in rough order: access (a booked lift or a ground floor is fast; three flights are not), how packed you are when we arrive, carry distance from door to truck, and volume. The planner reads the first one for your building; the callback pins down the rest before we put an estimate in writing.

Are there surcharges? Weekends, stairs, fuel?

No surcharge list. The rate is the rate; things that take longer simply take more of the hours you can see. Anything specific to your job, a bond your building holds, materials you ask for, belongs on the written quote, and if it isn't written there, you don't pay it.

Can you beat a cheaper hourly rate I found?

Maybe not, and we'd rather lose that race. A lower rate with a slower, unplanned day costs more than a fair rate with a booked lift and a run sheet. Compare totals and what's included, not rates, and ask the other mover who books the lift and who sends the COC. Then decide.

Interstate backloads and storage?

Priced per job, honestly, because they depend on routes and dates rather than an hourly clock. Ask through the form and we'll give you the real shape of it.

Ready when your building is

Tell us the building. We arrive with the plan made.

Two minutes on the form: where you're moving, roughly what's coming, and the week you're aiming for. We call you back, talk to your building manager if there is one, and lock the window.
